Getting here by MRT

Dhoby Ghaut (North-East, North-South, and Circle lines) is the most direct interchange. Exit towards Penang Road or Sophia Road, then walk north-east along Sophia Road and turn right onto Mount Sophia. The climb is short but steep; allow eight to twelve minutes from the station concourse.

Bencoolen (Downtown Line) serves the north side of the Bras Basah district. Exit towards Bencoolen Street, walk east past NAFA and the Singapore Art Museum, then continue to Mount Sophia via Prinsep Street. This route is flatter and suits visitors who prefer to avoid the Dhoby Ghaut underpass maze.

Rochor (Downtown Line) is useful if you are travelling from the Bugis or Little India direction. Exit towards Sungei Road, walk south-west along Prinsep Link, and join Mount Sophia from the Selegie end. Evening visitors should note that the Rochor underpass can be busy during peak hour.

Evening arrivals from the MRT often cross here before the climb up Mount Sophia.

Appointments

We do not maintain a walk-in counter. The desk is a working editorial room with scheduled screening blocks and writing time. If you wish to discuss a commissioning proposal, a research collaboration, or a correction in person, telephone or email first to confirm that an editor will be available. Unannounced visits may find the suite unattended.

Behind the main desk sits a small writing room used for quiet drafting and subtitle checks; it is not open to the public except during pre-arranged meetings.
